Walsh getting fundraising help from GOP leadership
CHICAGO – Despite his criticism of the GOP House leadership since being elected in 2010, Congressman Joe Walsh is getting help raising campaign funds from that leadership.
Walsh is expected to have a strong challenge from Democrat Tammy Duckworth for the redrawn 8th District seat.
Walsh said Texas Rep. Pete Sessions will take part in a fundraising breakfast set for May 3 in Elmhurst. Sessions heads the Republican Congressional Campaign Committee.
