McHenry preschoolers wait for chicks to hatch

McHENRY – A lesson about the life cycle of a chick culminates this week at Little Cherubs Preschool.

Today marks the anticipated “hatch day” for the 24 fertilized eggs that have been incubating in the classroom.

“I’m cautiously optimistic for a successful hatch,” said Michelle Golbeck, director and teacher of Little Cherubs Preschool at St. Paul Episcopal Church in McHenry.
