LITH to take CL’s extra road salt
LAKE IN THE HILLS – The village will store excess salt for the city of Crystal Lake.
Under a state contract, Crystal Lake had to buy more salt than it needed for the mild winter.
Lake in the Hills agreed to take 1,000 tons of the road salt from Crystal Lake. The Lake in the Hills Village Board approved the agreement last week.
