Bull Valley ribbon cutting on Thursday

WOODSTOCK -– Bull Valley Golf Club is having a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new ownership and improvements to the clubhouse and golf course.

Bull Valley was acquired by Gary Rabine, CEO of the Rabine Group, earlier this year.

The ceremony with the Crystal Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the private club, 1311 Club Road.

Rabine said he plans to increase the benefits of being a member and improve the amenities. World-class golf and business networking are two aspects of the club that his team will be focused on developing.

Golf Digest ranked the 18-hole Bull Valley Golf Club 14th best golf course in Illinois in 2011.

The clubhouse is 37,000 square feet with a two-story fireplace.
