Woodstock Harley-Davidson hosts plant sale

WOODSTOCK – Harley-Davidson of Woodstock, 2050 S. Eastwood Drive, will host a “Veterans in Need” Memorial Day weekend plant sale.

Proceeds will help support Catholic Charities Veterans Services programs to aid veterans with counseling, job placement, housing and other services.

The plant sale will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Plants for sale include geraniums, impatiens, petunias, hostas, raspberry bushes, and red, white and blue planters.

“Our veterans services and programs make a significant positive impact in the lives of some 18,000 persons throughout the Chicago metropolitan area who have served our country in the military,” said Monsignor Michael M. Boland, administrator, president and CEO of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
