C-G grad Kube plans next step after workout with Vikings

Alex Kube estimated there were 30 media members at this past weekend's Minnesota Vikings rookie minicamp.

The former Northern Illinois linebacker and Cary-Grove safety added that there were numerous cameras, not to mention members of the front office and all the Vikings coaches. In Kube's words, there were "eyes everywhere."

After not being selected in the 2011 NFL Draft and having no luck as a free agent after the NFL lockout, Kube finally was able to hook on with an NFL team when he was invited to Minnesota's rookie minicamp, which took place Friday through Sunday in Eden Prairie, Minn.
