Former Geneva student convicted in threat to dean

GENEVA – A former Geneva School District 304 student has been convicted of threatening to kill a Geneva High School dean last year.

Associate Judge James C. Hallock convicted Daniel T. Diomedes, 19, of St. Charles, after a bench trial on one count of disorderly conduct, a felony punishable by one to three years in prison.

Diomedes is to appear in court Aug. 8 for post-trial motions and sentencing.
