Raffle tickets on sale for McHenry golf outing

McHENRY – The McHenry Warrior Booster Club will present its 2012 golf outing June 25 at the McHenry Country Club. It begins with a shotgun start at noon and will support McHenry High School athletics.

Golfers may sign up individually for $100 or as a foursome for $400. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, lunch, a foursome photo, hors d’oeuvres after golf and door prizes.

Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin and best scores and in a putting challenge.

Those who do not play golf may attend for hors d’oeuvres in the country club after golf for $10 a person.

Those who do not golf also are encouraged to buy raffle tickets. Two raffles will take place at the conclusion of the outing. Winners need not be present.

Tickets for a reverse raffle, in which 100 tickets will be sold, cost $100. First prize is $2,500, second prize is $1,250, third prize is $750 and fourth prize is $500.

Prize raffle tickets are available for $29 each. First prize is a Sony 40-inch TV, second prize is an iPad and third prize is an Xbox 360.
