McHENRY – Not-For-Profit Resources recently hosted the McHenry County Human Race Celebration Breakfast to salute the 44 organizations that participated.

The second annual McHenry County Human Race was April 16 and supports local nonprofits. This year, 892 individuals registered for the walk/run and raised $64,715.

Eder Casella and Co. of McHenry received “Top Fundraising Business Award” for its fundraising effort. The group’s $100 prize was given to the United Way of McHenry County Special Fund, which was set up to support agencies that will be serving clients of the soon-to-close Family Service and Community Mental Health Center.
