WOODSTOCK – U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren, R- Batavia, said he gained two main insights at the McHenry County Workforce Center Tuesday – keep things local, and programs in place at the center are working.

The congressman spent his Tuesday afternoon in Woodstock getting a brief tour of the center and hearing about its efforts. In addition to local workforce and economic development leaders, more than a handful of beneficiaries of the center shared their stories.

"Big thing is talking about local, making sure there's that local connection," Hultgren said.
