Man arrested in connection with McHenry subdivision burglaries
McHENRY - A 42-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a string of residential burglaries in a McHenry subdivision.
Joseph P. McQuade, of 1103 Bonita Lane, McHenry, has been charged with four felony counts of residential burglary, three misdemeanor counts of theft, a felony count of theft and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to residence.
There were four reported residential burglaries and an attempted burglary at homes in the McHenry Shores subdivision dating back to mid-May, according to McHenry Police Detective Sgt. Tom Walsh. The most break-ins took place June 5 in the 1000 block of South Bonita Lane, and the 600 and 700 blocks of South Broadway Street.
