Residents search for Blues Brothers chair

WAUCONDA – Business owners and residents have banded together to help find a missing chair meant to showcase downtown Wauconda.

One of 15 painted Adirondack chairs on display on Main Street was reportedly stolen Saturday from outside Wauconda Paint & Glass, 104 S. Main St. The chair is sponsored by the Wauconda Junior Bulldogs Basketball organization.

More than 75 community members have since joined forces – creating a Facebook page – in the hope of recovering the bright blue and navy chair painted with a portrait of the Blues Brothers.
