Wauconda residents unite to find missing Blues Brothers chair

WAUCONDA - Business owners and residents have banded together to help find a missing chair meant to showcase downtown Wauconda.

One of 15 painted Adirondack chairs on display on Main Street was reportedly stolen Saturday from outside Wauconda Paint & Glass, 104 S. Main St. The chair is sponsored by the Wauconda Jr. Bulldogs Basketball organization.

A group of more than 75 community members has since joined forces — creating a Facebook page — to help recover the bright blue and navy chair painted with a portrait of the Blues Brothers.
