Garza, Cubs come undone in 6th, fall to Tigers

CHICAGO – Cubs starting pitcher Matt Garza isn’t wearing blinders when it comes to the trade rumors.

Garza, who is considered a hot commodity on the trade market, knows the Cubs could decide to deal him at any time. Although he and his family love the city, Garza is only focused on taking the mound every five days – wherever he may be.

“I’ll pitch on the freaking moon,” Garza said. “ ... As long as people keep asking for me, I’m doing a good job. When they stop asking, it’s time to work.”
