Romney to visit Obama turf for Chicago fundraiser

CHICAGO – Republican Mitt Romney lands on President Barack Obama's home turf Thursday evening to attend a fundraiser on Chicago's North Side.

As his party's presumptive nominee, Romney is engaged in an increasingly frantic race for campaign cash. Thursday's event takes place at a hotel in the affluent Gold Coast neighborhood, just a few miles north of Obama's campaign headquarters.

Earlier in the day, the rivals will lay out differing visions of how to spur America's sluggish economy in dueling speeches in Ohio.
