Boat crashes into pier along Fox River
FOX RIVER GROVE – A McHenry teen was cited for carelessness after crashing his family’s boat into a pier on the Fox River, sheriff’s deputies said.
Marine deputies from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 300 River Road in Fox River Grove at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday after a passer-by reported that a boat had hit a pier, according to a new release.
Deputies said they found the driver of a white and red 2008 Bayliner bleeding from the head while traveling north on the Fox River.
