Breakfast to help out cancer victim
ALGONQUIN – The staff at Riverview Restaurant and Tavern continues to raise money for a Crystal Lake woman battling cancer.
Several months ago, the Riverview, friends and family of Lori Komes pulled together to raise money for her medical costs, housing and past-due bills, according to a news release.
The latest fundraiser at the Riverview, 1320 S. Main St., today will offer a breakfast buffet of eggs sausage, bacon, fried potatoes with green peppers and onions, biscuits and coffee for $7.50 a person.
