Walk-athon to prepare for backpack giveaway
WOODSTOCK – New Life Christian Center will host its fourth annual Backpack Walk-athon at 10 a.m. June 30 at the center, 5115 Dean St., Woodstock.
For the past three years, the center has given out backpacks with basic school supplies. The center intends to provide backpacks for at least 200 children of families in financial distress.
