Sisters hold key for Huntley

CRYSTAL LAKE – These Andrews sisters don’t sing, they play ball. But for Huntley’s girls basketball team to have a bounce-back season next winter, the Andrews girls will have to be hitting the right notes.

Sam Andrews, a returning junior and Northwest Herald All-Area second-team selection, is joined this summer by her younger sister, freshman Ali Andrews. The girls have played together in AAU basketball before teaming up for the Red Raiders, but Sam relishes the chance to play together at Huntley.

“It’s a lot of fun playing with her because we know each other’s strengths and weaknesses,” Sam said. “When we play we kind of click.”
