It is with profound gratitude that I write this letter. Due to health issues, I have been unable to drive. My friend, Barb, suggested I call Faith in Action of McHenry County. Prior to my needing rides, I didn’t know anything about this nonprofit organization that provides assistance to senior citizens. I took her advice and what a blessing this has been for me.

For the past year, 50 wonderful, compassionate, dependable volunteers from Faith in Action  residing in Crystal Lake and the surrounding area have driven me wherever I needed to go. Not only did they drive me to and from the hospital, doctor and dental appointments, but they drove me to and from water therapy, for groceries and other places. They drove me a total of 176 times!
