Fundraiser set for fire victims
CRYSTAL LAKE – A Crystal Lake business is holding a fundraiser to help a Cary family who lost nearly everything, including family pets, in a house fire June 2.
The fundraiser will be from 4 to 6 p.m. June 26 at Monkey Joe’s, an inflatable play center at 6250 Route 14, Suite B, Crystal Lake. All money collected during that time will go to the Grimm family, said Monkey Joe’s General Manager Julie Carey.
The family consists of Lee and Devon Grimm and their daughters Ava, 6, and Ella, 1.
