County votes to keep clinicians
WOODSTOCK – McHenry County’s drug and mental health courts will keep two clinicians who would have been lost with the closing of Family Service and Community Mental Health Center.
The County Board voted Tuesday evening, 23-0, to approve a plan that keeps the clinicians, who worked in both specialty courts through a contract with Family Service.
Their positions will be funded through the McHenry County Mental Health Board, which is funded through a special tax levy, and will not equate to new spending.
