Rapist gets 120-year sentence for attack on woman
WHEATON, Ill. — A suburban Chicago man has been sentenced to 120 years in prison for sexually assaulting a woman after breaking into her home and forcing her to sexually abuse her five-month-old daughter.
The sentence given to 37-year-old James Murphy of Oak Forest on Monday was the maximum allowed by law.
In handing down the sentence, DuPage County Circuit Judge Daniel Guerin said forcing a mother to what she did was an act "the devil himself would by loathe to commit."
