Huntley buys downtown property, eyes development
HUNTLEY – In the coming months, village officials will brainstorm ideas on how to use a newly acquired property off Main Street as part of the village’s ongoing effort to refurbish the downtown.
The property, 11801 Main Street, could be demolished for parking or be used for business development, Village Manager Dave Johnson said.
Currently, a “cash for gold” store, cleaning service and three apartments are located at the property.
