There's no video this week, but I am proud to announce that I was recently recognized by U.S. Kids Golf as a Certified Instructor.
As a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor I have received extensive training in teaching golf to kids ages 12 and under. And like me, U.S. Kids Golf tries to incorporate game-based learning methods. I've demonstrated some of these drills, such as the snowman drill, in previous videos.
I've been a junior golf instructor for 33 years, and I've been at The Golf Club of Illinois for 32 years.
After all these years, I am still excited to learn more about the subject of teaching golf. Juniors are the future of the game.
I'll be back next Wednesday with a new "Full-speed Golf" video, but until then feel free to contact me with any video ideas. I'm always looking to hear from players about the parts of their golf game they want to improve.
