Jager runs for steeplechase glory
Evan Jager sounded somewhat like the hyperkinetic child he once was when he would run laps in the yard around his house just for something to do.
The 2007 Jacobs graduate has been slightly impatient over the past week as the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials approached.
“I just want the race to be here,” Jager said last week. “It’s the waiting game now. I’ve been ready to go for a while. I’m excited to race right now.”
