LITH lowers hangar rental rates
LAKE IN THE HILLS – The village has lowered the rental rate for its T-Hangars in hopes of attracting airplane owners to store their planes.
The new rental rate for a T-Hangar is $290 a month, which is down from $378.59.
“While this may appear to be a big reduction, please keep in mind that filling three vacancies at the reduced rate brings us to the break even point, and filling more than three spaces will increase revenue,” Public Works Director Fred Mullard said in a memo to the Village Board.
