Day care provider sees ‘witch hunt’

WOODSTOCK – A Woodstock woman charged with child endangerment and operating an unlicensed day care calls the case against her a “witch hunt.”

Annette T. Zender, 52, was charged in April with three counts of endangering the life and health of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.

In mid-April, a child in Zender’s care suffered a cut to the head and a concussion and was treated in an emergency room.
