LAKEWOOD - A water boil order is in effect for a Lakewood subdivision due to a broken water main, according to officials.

The order was issued at 11:30 p.m. Sunday for the Fairways of Turnbery subdivision after a broken water main was reported along Lakewood Road, according to a news release. Repairs are underway, and are expected to be completed sometime Monday morning.

The boil order includes all residences in the subdivision, which includes Palmer Drive, Trevino Way and Norman Court. It remains in effect until testing shows that the water is safe to drink, which usually takes a minimum of 24 hours or longer.
