Boil order lifted for Lakewood subdivision
A water boil order was lifted this morning for a Lakewood subdivision, according to village officials.
The order was issued at 11:30 p.m. Sunday for the Fairways of Turnbery subdivision after a broken water main was reported along Lakewood Road, according to a news release. It affected a total of 45 homes in the subdivision, which includes Palmer Drive, Trevino Way and Norman Court.
"We appreciate the patience and understanding of the residents," Public Works Director Paul Ruscko said in the news release. "Our staff worked through the night to insure that the repairs were made in a timely and effective manner so that the boil order could be lifted as quickly as possible."
