Oliver: Ky. town hit by tornado rebuilds bit by bit
WEST LIBERTY, Ky. – The approach to the small Kentucky town of West Liberty offers no clue as to what lies ahead.
Along the main highway, a lush canopy of trees covers rolling hills punctuated by rocky bluffs.
With so much beauty, one easily could forget the horror that descended on Morgan County and the surrounding areas March 2, when an EF3 tornado cut a swath of destruction and leveled the town.
