A mission of care: Cary group to work at Indian Reservation
CARY – Members of the Cary United Methodist Church ripped off shingles and replaced them. They sewed blankets and spent time with the local American Indians and listened to their stories.
For a week, members of Cary United Methodist Church went to the Rosebud Indian Reservation in Mission, S.D., on a mission trip.
Many times they saw residents who were struggling in their lives on the reservation of about 20,000 people in the southern part of South Dakota.
