Huntley orders downtown revitalization plan
HUNTLEY – The village quickly advanced plans to create a special taxing district that officials say could bring $34 million to help redevelop and possibly lure new businesses to Huntley’s downtown.
The board voted, 5-0, Thursday to allow the Chicago firm Kane, McKenna and Associates to draft a redevelopment plan of objectives and projects to revitalize the area within the downtown tax increment financing district.
