ALGONQUIN – Three people were sent to the hospital Friday with injuries that weren’t life threatening after a multi-vehicle crash at Randall and Algonquin roads.

About 7:45 p.m., Maricruz Rojas, 23, of Lake in the Hills was driving south on Randall in a 1999 Ford Explorer when she made a left turn onto Algonquin. Rojas was struck by a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Victoria Benkendorf, 19, of Crystal Lake, Police Sgt. Brett Wisnauski said.

Rojas’ vehicle then spun and was struck by a 2005 Honda Accord driven by Katlyn Herrera, 20, of Crystal Lake, Wisnauski said.
