Pierzynski's 2 HRs power White Sox past Yankees

NEW YORK – A.J. Pierzynski, Paul Konerko and the White Sox were totally prepared to face Adam Warren in his major league debut.

Seeing Dewayne Wise on the mound, now that was a surprise.

Pierzynski hit two home runs, Konerko and Alexei Ramirez also connected, and the Sox pounded the Yankees so hard that New York needed an outfielder to pitch, bringing in Wise to finish a 14-7 romp Friday night.
