Rockford led state in DUI arrests last year
ROCKFORD – Outside of Chicago, the city of Rockford had the highest number of DUI arrests in Illinois last year.
That's according to an annual survey by the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists, which recognizes police departments for efforts to fight drunken driving.
The city in northern Illinois had 686 arrests last year of people suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
