Summer blood donations stanched
During the simple blood donation process, people come in, fill out paperwork and answer questions about their health history.
After an IV is inserted, it takes 10 to 15 minutes for a pint of blood to come out.
Donors then can take 15 minutes to recover and have juice and snacks.
