Woodstock restricts water use
WOODSTOCK – The city has issued mandatory water restrictions as hot, dry weather continues with no relief in sight.
The city is able to keep up with the increased demand for water and has not experienced any sustained drop in water levels in the six water supply wells. But water elevations in the storage towers drop significantly each day. The city has been able to refill the storage overnight.
Still, the increased demand for an extended period of time coupled with the weather forecast concerns city officials.
