FRG mulls home tour language

FOX RIVER GROVE – Village Board members are considering new language to regulate home-based businesses, which was brought forward because of ongoing Bettendorf Castle issues.

At a Health and Public Safety Committee meeting Monday, Trustee Michael Ireland introduced draft language that was forwarded to the Village Board for further discussion and legal review.

The language includes requiring a special-use permit for home tours. Special permits are considered by the village’s zoning board and require approval by the Village Board.
