No real concern
To the Editor:
Today, I’m embarrassed to be a Republican and a Catholic. As a Republican, all I hear is defeat President Barack Obama. There’s no real concern that, near as I can tell, almost 50 percent of the people want health care. There’s no, let’s tweak what was passed. We have to repeal without a plan. It’s really sad that we as the “compassionate conservatives” are really more interested in defeating Obama instead of doing the right thing and sharing the credit.
As a Catholic, it is disgusting that in order to not give employees the option they want as far as birth control, they hide behind the separation of church and state. You really want separation? Fine. Give up all your tax breaks. Give up all over the country your free water, sewer, electric and gas and all the other perks you get. Also give up your ability as the only corporation in the U.S. who can hide felons, or what they really are, pedophiles. Any other company would be charged with obstruction of justice.
