Our view: MCC’s plans to expand
“A skilled, educated workforce is what we need, and that is what companies look for in a community. Developing that workforce is what [McHenry County College] is all about.”
Pam Cumpata, president of the McHenry County Economic Development Corp., spoke those words during an interview with Northwest Herald reporter Brett Rowland for his three-part investigative series into the college’s proposal to spend $278.5 million in the next decade to expand its central campus.
We agree wholeheartedly with Cumpata.
