Youkilis plays hero for White Sox
CHICAGO – Kevin Youkilis was acquired to improve the White Sox’s lineup and help out at third base.
He did a lot of both Wednesday night. Youkilis was the source of a 5-4, walk-off victory against the Texas Rangers in front of a crowd of 30,271 at U.S. Cellular Field.
“It’s great,” Youkilis said about his winning hit. “The main goal is to get the heck out of here, and that’s always my approach. Easier said than done, but it was great.
