Deng only NBA player on roster for British; Parker’s status iffy
LONDON – Bulls forward Luol Deng is the only NBA player on a British Olympic basketball squad missing Charlotte Bobcats duo Ben Gordon and Byron Mullens.
Deng has recovered sufficiently from a left wrist injury to be included in the 12-man squad announced Thursday.
Deng said he and the other players “plan to make Britain proud” and adds that he can’t “wait to step on the court with my teammates at the games.”
