Search continues for missing swimmer in Ohio River
CARRSVILLE, Ky. — A search continues in the Ohio River for a swimmer who went under in Livingston County in western Kentucky.
The Paducah Sun reported emergency officials identified the missing man as 42-year-old Casey Chavez of Golconda, Ill.
Livingston County emergency management official David Koon said Chavez was swimming with two of his children Wednesday morning off Rondo Island when he dove into the river and didn't resurface.
