WALKUP ROAD/ROUTE 176: Walkup Road from Route 176 south to Woodstock Street is closed until about September. A posted detour will take drivers along a Main Street/Crystal Lake Avenue route.

Work on the road this year consists of two parts: Improving the intersection of Walkup Road and Route 176 and widening and resurfacing from Crystal Springs Road to Bull Valley Road. Plans call for two lanes in each direction at the intersection, along with separate turn lanes.

Walkup Road will get a continuous center turn lane north of Crystal Ridge Drive, and will be widened to three lanes from north of Crystal Springs Road to south of Bull Valley Road, with new signals installed at the Mason Hill Road intersection.
