MCC to host Community Safety Expo

McHENRY – The McHenry County College Traffic Safety Program will host a Community Safety Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 21 at the college’s Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry.

The expo, which is free and open to the public, will be held rain or shine. Among the activities, attendees will learn about youth and adult bicycle safety, experience firsthand the consequences of distracted and impaired driving, see a firetruck and meet police and fire personnel.

Child safety seat checks and child identification also will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
