No more distractions

To the Editor:

I’ve been reading about Crystal Lake and the electronic sign issue. As someone who drives daily, I don’t want any more distractions. I pass two electronic signs nearly every day, and I hate them.

Today, with people on their phones either talking or texting, some people reading books while driving, painting their fingernails, brushing their teeth, and yes, I even saw one man on two cellphones (wondering who was holding the steering wheel), I feel those electronic signs are dangerous because as they flash, your instinct is to turn and look at them.
