Parents of drowned child accused of endangerment
EDWARDSVILLE – The southwestern Illinois parents of a toddler who drowned in a small lake are facing felony child-endangerment charges for allowing the boy to live in what a prosecutor calls “filth and squalor.”
Prosecutors in Madison County have charged 26-year-old Thomas Pinski and 25-year-old Emilie Pinski of Edwardsville.
Their 2-year-old son, Lukas Pinski, drowned May 2 after authorities say he and his twin brother had wandered away from their home.
