CL man in critical condition after being pulled from Fox River

CRYSTAL LAKE – The father of a Crystal Lake teen pulled unconscious from the Fox River said his son likely will not recover from a swimming incident.

Doctors at Centegra Hospital – McHenry continue to monitor the critical condition of Connor Priesz, an 18-year-old graduate of Prairie Ridge High School. He was unresponsive when pulled from the river Monday after what appeared to be a seizure.

His father, Brian Priesz, said Tuesday evening that doctors have started to less aggressively monitor his son’s condition as he receives support from a ventilator.
