McHenry begins overhaul of trash
McHENRY – In less than a month, residents will have to make slight adjustments for trash pickup and recycling service.
After a decade with MDC Environmental Services, the city of McHenry has moved to a new waste collection and recycling provider.
City officials said Marengo-based MDC Environmental Services declined to extend its agreement with McHenry without significant rate increases or service changes.
